Janice Lorde-Powers is an associate in civil litigation with a concentration in medical malpractice, general liability, health law and nursing home defense.

Mrs. Lorde-Powers graduated cum laude from Brandeis University in 1999, thereafter receiving her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark in 2005.  While in law school, Mrs. Lorde-Powers was a legal research and writing teaching adjunct, recipient of the President’s Merit Scholarship and the Notes and Comments Editor of the Computer and Technology Law Journal.  Immediately following law school, Mrs. Lorde-Powers was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County.

Mrs. Lorde-Powers is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the Federal Courts of New York, Eastern and Southern Districts.  She is a member of the New York County Women’s Bar, Brooklyn Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
