Brett D. Kanter, Associate

Brett D. Kanter graduated cum laude from Binghamton University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and history. Thereafter, he earned his juris doctor from St. Johns’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development and the Commercial Division Online Law Report.

Prior to joining Aaronson Rappaport, Brett was employed at a large insurance defense firm, where his practice focused on medical malpractice, commercial motor vehicle liability, architectural and engineering errors and omissions, and employment discrimination.

At Aaronson Rappaport, Brett’s practice focuses on medical malpractice defense for some of New York’s most prominent hospitals and physicians.

Brett is admitted to practice before the courts of the State New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
