Charles F. Hickerson IV, Associate

Charles Hickerson graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After that, he worked as the editor-in-chief of the public interest magazine NATIVE, writing and editing hundreds of long-form articles on Nashville food, art, music, and literature. After six years with the publication, Charles obtained his J.D. from Belmont College of Law, where he was the Chief Brief Writer for the Belmont Moot Court team and earned awards in Law and Economics. He also clerked at the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Federal Public Defender of Middle Tennessee, and the Nashville Metro Legal Department.

 

Before joining Aaronson Rappaport, Charles was an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx District Attorney’s Appeals Bureau and a plaintiffs’ civil rights attorney. At ARFD, Charles’ practice focuses on handling complex appellate issues for some of New York State’s most prestigious hospitals and physicians. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
