Defense Verdict in Nassau County for Larry Bloomstein and his team

On March 26, 2019, trial partner, Larry Bloomstein and his trial team obtained a defense verdict in Nassau County on behalf of their hospital client in a wrongful death case involving plaintiff’s claims of a failure to timely diagnose a myocardial infarction. Mr. Bloomstein was successful on liability and causation by establishing that the cause of death was not a myocardial infarction, but was instead a pulmonary embolus, which could not have been diagnosed or prevented prior to the decedent’s discharge from the hospital.
