Nick Marotta obtains another defense verdict for an ARFD client

Congratulations to Nick Marotta and his trial team for achieving another defense verdict for an ARFD client! The lawsuit, venued in New York County, focused on the issue of an intestinal perforation more than one week after surgery. The plaintiff contended that this perforation was missed during the initial surgery. Nick demonstrated that the perforation was as a result of a small, unrecognizable serosal tear to the wall of the intestine that broke down over time, leading to a perforation that was not present at time of the initial surgery.
