Trial team lead by Daniel Nessim achieves defense verdict in New York County

Partner, Daniel Nessim, and his trial team received a defense verdict in New York County for their physician client operating an independent gastroenterology practice.  The case involved claims that there was a failure to diagnose celiac disease leading to malabsorption syndrome, overall weakness and nephropathy, requiring the 47 year old plaintiff to use a walker and wheelchair for mobility and need the assistance of a home health aide. In closing, plaintiff asked the jury to aware $10 Million in damages.
