Unanimous verdict obtained on behalf of ARFD clients by Nicholas Marotta and trial team in Nassau County

On April 15, 2019, ARFD Partner, Nicholas Marotta, and his trial team of Jessica Seyer and Tivara Grant, received a unanimous defense verdict before Judge Marber of the Supreme Court of Nassau County, State of New York, on behalf of ARFD clients, a dermatologist and the associated practice group. The case involved claims that the defendants failed to timely diagnose basal cell carcinoma of the right parietal scalp, leading to progression of the cancer into the skull, bone and dura, requiring surgical and radiation treatment, with present diminution of activities of daily living, loss of enjoyment of life, and the inability to maintain a lucrative private dental practice.
